Paige Roche-Week 4-USB
Who doesn't love school spirit?! The idea of the 'Bzzap' is for all SCAD students..go bees! The theme for my USB drive is a 'bee'. I enjoyed making this product. The 'Bzzap' is made to be simple, small, and light weight.
In Rhino, I used the projection command quite a bit, along with curves and boolean commands. The cap very difficult for me. The inner part of the USB was definitely a struggle but I learned quite a a lot through the steps which was very beneficial. I tthink this was my first rhino project that had no naked edges. I am happy with how it turned out.
In Keyshot, I wanted to stay pretty basic with my drive so I stuck with small color scheme. I specifically used bright colors because I always leave my flash driving sitting around so I thought a bright color like yellow would make it stand out so I would not forget it. I wanted to make the ridges on the base to have a sense of grip to it. I think the inner yellow pieces create unity and give it some dimension.
