Having the challenge too model from a original drawing help me straighten my knowledge using as a designer and using rhino. As beginning to model I had to face some challenges as for if the drawings had enough information; good orthographic views and line that guide how the drawing would be made using rhino.

Next, as working along the project I had to re design some aspes of the original design, by inputing out the triangular shape along the heads holders, since the original design had then inward. I did this because it might be uncomfortable for the consumer. While doing the project I had influence by geometry shapes, since the design includes so many.

Much of my modeling techniques include from first scanning the design and projecting the under, side, and front side of the model to begin drawing. Once that was done, the drawing came along. Finishing the curves I later made each curve into a surface which later I made it into a surface. From there I play using fillet edge and chamfer.

Finally, the rendering in keyshoot includes materials such as plastic and glass for the inner lens. I choose 3 colors to unify the piece. The red holders represents the name of the glasses itself, since its name "Dynamic glass".

Entering now the 4 week of computer modeling, I realized how much I've learn using Rhino and keyshot. Now, I was inspired by the detergent brand Ariel. I decided to do so, since it brings childhood memories; those sunny days playing out side in the field and cleaning my forehead with my shirt, rinsing the aroma as I brush away the sweet. In addition, the over all shape of the bottle, was design to hold more amount of detergent in a average size container. Thus reducing manufacturing costs, as well as being made from all ECO recyclable materials.

Coming to design the bottle using rhino included: first starting by drawing a line using curve(interpolate point) to have a G2 smooth curve curve in order too have no problems later on. Second, using the same command curve, drawing the side of the bottle too later sweet2 thus creating the surface around. The details are now using a line cutting the plane using trim and later extruding the line. For the logo I first took a side on the plane to create it, later I set it aside of were I wanted to be, as soon it was touching the intersecting surface I boolean difference it and later chamfer and fillet edge most of the sides. For the detergent cap, is began with a cylinder base that I later attach a helix, from the helix I sweet1 with an addition figure attach to its end.

Finally, the materials stick to basic plastic, glossy, colors that are cheep and attractive to the costumer

Juan Sebastian Moreno: Week 3 Mouse Project

Working along common used objects, has been an interesting idea. There are so many design that are perfect bur, for currently most designs are going back to the sketchbook. As I encounter the project at first sight I new right away from where to start.

The first thing I came along was, to feel an actual one and come up the problems that might improve the users experience. The first problem was that sometimes the clicker gets stuck, therefore no making the correct choose. With that, I introduce a set of double clickers with just a single touch makes the commands work. Another, update was to incorporate  a double clicker in one.
As far as the design, Simple with a single touches makes the work flow. The colors are black, and cream color with they intersect creating harmony. The mouse track is made out of a plastic that could be taken as a expensive solid piece.

In final, here I try to challenge myself to build the most complicated mouse tutorial, however I came a bit frustrated since I don't have a fully arrange it. But, over all, blendsfr, fillet, loft, and extrudesrf.

Now, beginning to enforce my techniques using Rhino I found myself in a more comfortable situation, were I can demonstrate what I've learn and give a well projected design.

As for my design, I came with a sharpener duck call " SharperDuck". off course my inspiration came from the sharpener, and as a lot of sharpeners out in the market I decided to make it simple. Although, the ducks mouth represents how sharper the point will came out after using sharperduck!

Meanwhile, the materials used reinforce the meaning. for example, the ducks mouth is made out of wood and so is the pencil. For the body, the color red represents a global campaign against slavery. So, each time the consumer buys one of the SharperDuck it would donate a percent of its sales. In addition to, an introduction to a logo brings much more consumers.

Finally, as for my process modeling I used much of the commands: fillet, fillet edge, boolean(different)(union), project, trim, pipe, mirror, scale, and extracting surfaces to suffix the poly surfaces.
