Zoe Leung: Week 10 Shoes
I would like to design a pair of heels that is apt for cocktail parties and formal social functions, with lots of emphasis on fluidity and elegance. The heels are made of leather in red wine color, juxtaposed with sumptuous gold circular ornaments. They will go well with long flowing gowns and silky evening dresses.

The Deco wedge style shoe is inspired by the Art Deco area of architecture and fashion a time in society when freedom, color and integrity flourished. Wedges and heels have been a staple on women's feet whether they are working a cat walk or running in late for work. Shoes are a statement piece to any ensemble creating looks that are classy, eclectic and original the three factors in the design direction of the Deco character in the way architecture has. The form fitting delicate straps are in contrast to the edgy heel allowing the foot to stay secure and breathe. The options of colors and materials of the shoe are specifically designed upon request or can be requested from on of the design inspired collections.

The concept of the Orb Detergent Bottle is a very sleek and compact shape containing a progressive type of detergent that is not liquid but solid spheres that evolve after contact with H2o. The shape of the detergent and the bottle derive from a sphere resembling an orb shape inspiring the name.The center double layer grips are for handling control because there is no need for a handle that would not allow this small compact shape to squeeze in small spaces. The twist off lid is easy to remove, leak proof and crack resistant. The bottle comes in a variety of colors and hard plastics. A metal mesh material is also an option to allow the fragrant scent of the detergent spheres to seep through and freshen the air wherever the bottle may be stored. The new direction of detergent bottles are handle free and compact no more falling off the shelves or lugging it to the checkout counter. Orb Detergent is the way to wash laundry fresh, stylish and multi-purposeful.
Kara Hawkins : USB
The Key USB is a small pocket size USB that offers a variety of GB ranging from 8, 12 and 32 GBs. The concept of the design was to imitate a car key for the business man or teenage girl who can not keep up with the small object can attach the USB to a key ring. The usb itself retracts with slight force into the key shape base for protection. The need for caps on usb's are not necessary when it can project out or be recessed in the base which makes the USB Key a nifty and convenient way to store information.There are two types of materials offered being clear and matte hard plastic ranging in three colors.
Chiwon Lee : Week 9 Shoes
I used curve from 2 views to curve the original sole to the shape of heels, and I copied original sole and bumped one up on top of the original one then used sweep 2 rail to connect two soles and make a heel out of it. I used section to make lines that will be connected to the bands of the shoe. I drew a line with curve line tool to create the bands of the shoe. I used the curve line tool and rebuild to create lines for the heel and used sweep2 to complete the heal. I used text and project to surface to put logo on the shoe. And used key shot to render it. There are orthographic of the shoes with inspiration drawing included.
