Lucy Meadows: Week 2 Duck

I enjoyed playing around with organic shapes in the duck assignment. I decided to transform my duck into a wine stopper, which combined geometric and organic forms. My late father was a glass artist, and my project was inspired by some of his work

Lucy Meadows: Week 2 Flashlight

Flashlight 1

After completing the duck Rhino tutorial, I was inspired to do additional modeling of organic shapes and began sketching ideas that could apply to the flashlight assignment. I played around with the idea that a flashlight is ultimately a handle and a light source and came up with an antler shape for the handle. After experimenting with that concept, my flashlight turned into more of a headlamp; that inspired the light source to be modeled after a headlight of an old automobile. My project evolved into a different way of looking at the phrase: deer in the headlight.

Lucy Meadows: Week 1 Castle

My castle was inspired by a small castle I played with as a child. This project gave me an opportunity to explore the basics of Rhino.
