Benjamin Lieber // Drunk Duck

While I found going about designing a rubber duck to be not all that interesting, I decided to make a sort of playful product for middle aged people. Crack open a fresh brew with the helping hand of Drunk Duck. The best part, he's the friend who won't judge you for how many you've had or haven't had!

I did find myself having trouble using really organic shapes. Main issues: Making everything blend smoothly. I need much work with the split, blend surfaces, blend edges, and blend curves tool. There were a few commands I was trying to use that were making the program crash which sucked.

Overall, I would say I am proud of drunk duck and what he taught me about organic shapes in Rhino. It is interesting to see so many people make their ducks into some sort of tool for people. As such a common item, until I decided to do a beer opening duck, I hadn't even considered making something different than just a basic rubber duck.
