Ryan Quinn: Week 2 Rubber Duck

I started the design of my duck with no clear intent. As I began to develop the shape of the body and the head I thought of combinations of things that are unnatural for ducks, like punching.  After thinking of punching ducks, i thought of a product that combines both: duck brass knuckles.
Unfortunately i could not figure out how to fix my last naked edges, which had become points. I tried many different commands to no avail, not even the join edge command could right my wrongs.
In this model I used the surface blend command to attach the head and the neck.  I used loft to make the base of the handle grip. I also used Boolean union to combine the fingers holes and the handle together.
I choose a gunmetal silver for the material choice of most of the duck knuckles.  I wanted it to look clean, with only a few colors, but shiny and metallic.  I choose the red because i wanted an abrasive color.  I didn't want to make cute duck knuckles.
