Yi Wang: Week 2 Duck Bathtub Design

       This is a bathtub design. At the beginning of the design I thought about the connection between duck and water. So I think the best way to show the element of duck in a product is having something about water. And I believe bathtub is the best choice. In this design the duck head faucet is the most important part. And this is also the beginning of the whole idea. I imagined how interesting it may be when there is water come out from a duck’s mouse. And I also thought about bathtub should give people comfort and enjoyableness. So I add a massage chair in it. I also add a controller at the side and some other details for convenience. 

       In this design I used a lot of “rebuild ” command so I can create the best shape I want for the body of bathtub. I also used “blend” to make the duck’s neck and the bathtub's legs. I also used some other command but these two I think are the most important technique I used.

       In this design I want my product looks fancy and classic, so I used golden and red for the main color. And I used black for the chair to make it looks modern. So people won't think this is just an old classic bathtub. I used stone for the bathtub body, because it's the most common material we use for this. The only different is I make the duck head looks golden. The middle part of the chair is made by very soft materials.
