Lydia Batchelder: Week2 Flashlight

This here is my flashlight model and I'm mighty proud of it for many reasons. The first being my determination to complete the model and not give up. Secondly, for my trying out fillet edges and finally, my mastery of the array tool.

When practicing on making a flashlight model in class I was very intrigued by the way the model hung suspended in the air as if it was forever falling. In an instant I thought of an ever falling ice cream cone and decided that was the way to go! The materials chosen were to create a fun and funky light with a good smooth matte hand grip to keep that flashlight from falling.

There were many challenges that faced me along the way, lost files, faulty rendering, and worst of all the dreaded PINK EDGE. It was literally all over my model and I thought my modeling career was over. Yet, I kept going, asked for help, and came out triumphant with a real nice model.
