Madeleine Riande- Week 2 Duck

 

My rubber duck was inspired by what i called smoking addiction. I had the idea of making the actual ashtray to have 2 different functions. As an ashtray an a place you can put the cigaret box.

I enjoyed this assignment because i could change and do anything i wanted with the shape of the duck, I used the same form  and copy it an scale it to make the same cuts but inside. I used the same method for the cigaret box, I used filet edges to round the edges. Array polar for the cigaret.

I use granite black for the body of the duck for it too look like a real ashtray.  For the spikes, the mouth and the eyes i used aluminum.
