Julia Ponce: Week 1 Castle

Ghosted View
Pedestrian View
Birds-eye View

This is my first project in Rhino, the castle. It was inspired in medieval ages. I took the design of the castle from that period of time, however I fused my design with a modern look. I tried to keep it simple, but at the same time attractive to the eye.

To create my castle I played a lot with the box tool, with simple geometric shapes. To make the windows of the castle I used the round hole tool. I used the Boolean difference tool to make the cylinder door of the castle. I also used a lot of copy and paste objects and then re-size them, to put them in different places.

As a mentioned before my inspiration was medieval ages, but as I wanted to keep my design simple, I didn't wanted to use stone as the main material of the castle. That's why I used a lot of silver shadows,
to focus more in how every shape is created rather than as the hole.
