Madeleine Riande: Week 1 Castle

The castle was first ELDS project. I was inspired by Russian and modern architecture. I wanted to express a combination of future like views and historic architecture. I was also inspired by a jelly fish. I have always been fascinated bye them.

I enjoyed using the ArrayPolar command to repeat solids in a direction. Building the vault was the most interesting and challenging part of my Castle. I used curves and made them solids using the pipe in the vault and the upper area as well.

I used marble for the down part and an sapphire for the vault. The other materials well aluminum and metal. I used light greens and blues to contrast with the sapphire and give a more clean and detail look.
