Brendan Faulkner: Flashlight Casing

The Flashlight project of week two was a great and fun peace to work on. I personally think my design is interesting on how classy and sleek it looks. We were required to design a case to cover the original flash light.

The style I chose to create is a sleek wood and mettle design that reminds me of the 50s and their art Deco sleek wooden design. The clientele who would bye this would spend about $25 or so on this casing. The materials I used to create this cover are..

The most difficult thing I thought that this project pushed me on would half to be the true scale of the cover to fit over the flashlight. My skills are getting better but that is what really got me, it took me a bit but I figured it out and am happy to have not given up.

  • Dark wood for the frame
  • Beloved edged titanium sphere
  • punched titanium holed rings around the frame
  • Gold interior of flashlight frame
