My idea in mind when creating this flashlight was strength and dexterity. This is a flashlight that would be sold in hardware stores and would appeal to people who spend time in harsh environments. I put a lot of shielding near the back and prongs on the front to prevent wearing away at the metal shade.
A lot of basic functioned were used in this flashlight learned in week 1. Cylinders, boxes, extruded curves are all just additions to the plain cylinder body. Piping indents and additions were used near the top and sides of the flashlight body, respectively. The split tool was used to create a two toned truncated cylinder.
I used a highly reflective surface near the bulb of the flashlight for reflective flare and so it would be easy to spot from a distance. A hard blue plastic and a smooth orange rubber to a project a construction attitude. The orange rubber has grips and areas to keep your fingers in one place. Small lense shaped objects were added to the top guard for aesthetic appeal.
