Chia Yu Lu: Week 2 Ducky

To me the first thing that I would think of a duck is the sound. I am always amused by their funny sound “quack!” So I decide to combine it with a timer, and each time when the time set is up the user could hear the sound “quack!”

The duck timer I design began with two spheres, by edit points and insert control points I was able to shape the duck the way that I wanted it to look like. The head and the body of the duck was joined by the blend surface to make a neck. By trim I was able to make the open mouth the duck. Finally I inserted the timer which I made by two cylinders and numbers of spheres.

 Like an ordinary timer I build this duck timer by the plastic and the color that I choose for were yellow, black and white for the timer.
