Julia Ponce: Week 2 Flashlight

My inspiration was to create something sleek and low profile for everyday carry. The design is meant to be rugged and to easily carried in a pocket. This allows the user to have light with them whenever they need it.
The modeling techniques I used for my led flashlight were Array Polar, for the front of the flashlight. I used the tube command along with Boolean difference to create the ribs in the body of the flashlight.
I chose anodized metal for the body and the head of the flashlight, because the flashlight is meant to be durable. For the details of the flashlight I used a texture metal. For the environment i used ground reflections, and a dark grey with three lights.

  1. Rotate your model in Keyshot so that it meets the ground properly. It seems to be floating in space. Also enlarge your model so that it activates the page more successfully. You second image should provide information that is not contained in image one. Consider a view from the rear of your model.
