This is my first project in Rhino, the castle was inspired on the Gothic period and the ancient Greek architecture as seen on the tall and pointed spires and the columns around the temples-towers. For the fort I created a cylinder in which attached four towers and align in the center as a focal point the castle.
I used a lot of the "Boolean difference" command for creating windows, doors and sidewalks on the bridges and fort. As well the "Curve Boolean" command was used many times for creating the doors and windows with the shapes of arcs were original curves.
I was mainly inspired by the movie "the hobbit" choosing therefore a sober pallet. I wanted a more blacksmith gold Era, so in key shot program I choose the materials of gold, copper and stained steeled.
